11.8.3 Turning on and off an external peripheral using a

power relay on the modem’s digital output:

1. Connect the positive side of the relay to a positive power source (Max. 30VDC) that

corresponds to the specifications of the relay used.

2. Connect the negative side of the relay to one of the 3 digital outputs (Max. current

500mADC).
